It's a Bright, bright, bright sunshiney day.....

O.k. so maybe it isn't bright and sunny outside right now but where we were last weekend it was. We took a family vacation down to St. George. Our friends, The Collins, joined us too. We left Salt lake driving in rain and snow. Eventually it cleared up. We stopped in Cedar to visit with some old friends of ours and took Braxton around to show him his first stomping grounds (more of this to come later). Anyway, The Collins left way after us and arrived just a few minutes before us at La Quinta since we stopped and had to see a bunch of people along the way. Anyway, below are a bunch of pics from our daily adventures.

Thursday Evening (4/22/2010)

Friday we went to Zions. So, below are a series of collages of our hike. It was so beautiful. A little cold but perfect for hiking.

Saturday morning we went shopping at the Outlets but came back and soaked in the sun. It was BEAUTIFUL! The kids had a blast swimming everday.

That night we ate at Wingers. It was perfect, crazy, and FUN!!!

On our way out on Sunday we stopped at the St. George Temple to show the kids the grounds and take pictures. It was so beautiful. I really would like to do it all over again. Time to plan another trip!!! :)

Farewell

RIP Toyota. Although it was a 1995 it joined our family on July 24th 1999. It was a happy day. We were pregnant with our first child and had a truck at the time so we went car shopping. This was the beauty we came home with. It brought our firstborn home from the hospital, our second born, AND our third born child home as well. At that point it was time to purchase a second car. This quickly became Corey's car and I took over the mini van we purchased. Such happy memories we had with it. It's life came to an abrupt end on April 21st, 2010. Driving down Highway 111 it took it's last breathe. Big O tried to revive it but it was DOA. It now sits in our driveway awaiting decision on its final burial place. We will miss you dearly. Vroom Vroom. May you Rest in Peace.

Sammy's Baptism

Samantha was baptized yesterday. It was such a beautiful day. She looked absolutely gorgeous. But I am her mother and I can say that. :) She had so much family and so many friends that came to support her. Thank you all.

Afterwards we had a luncheon at our house. It was a lot of fun to visit with everyone. I tried to get pictures of her with everyone that came but I still may have missed a person or two. Oh well, I did my best. Thanks everyone for bringing such yummy food too.

Tayden's T-Ball

We went to Tayden's first T-Ball game last night. It was so cute. Of course after a bit you can see that Tayden's hat somehow turned sideways on his head. What a Rebel! He wanted to be in front of the game and he certainly tried to push his way through everyone to try and get the ball. Alright, enough talking....enjoy the pics. :)

Easter Fun

After the 2nd Session of Conference on Saturday we took off to my parents house and had dinner and an Easter Egg hunt. The kids really enjoyed being with their cousins. They all colored Easter Eggs after the men went to the Priesthood Session. Thanks mom for such a fun time once again.

My little ones had fun looking for what the Easter bunny left for them at our house. The Easter Bunny via way of my good friend Petra left us magical beans that you can see the kids panted. Some really big colorful lollipops grew from them. It was amazing. ;)

I couldn't resist this cute picture of two cousins just a month and a half apart in age. They have got to see each other a lot more lately so they are having fun getting to know each other and play together. It was so cute to watch them.

April Fools Breakfast

It came down to the wire again this year. I just couldn't figure out what I was going to do fun for the kids. After my April Fools dinner last year, which you can see here, they kept talking about what I would do this year. I couldn't disappoint. Well, after running through ideas in my head and a bit of help from Corey as well it all came together. We used a big roll of paper to cover the table as the table cloth. I took a plate and traced it with a crayon at each seat. I took a hot glue gun and glued the cups to their correct spot by their "plates". I then came up with a different utensil for each seat. I got this all set up the night before as you can see below.

I made mini muffins, mini pancakes, and cut up the sausage and bacon small enough and slid everything but the muffins on a toothpick. So, we had breakfast kabobs. I poured syrup in little cups which they were able to dip their food into. It was funny to see them try and pick up their drinks for the first time. I kindly provided everyone with straws so it was funny to see everyone lean over to get to their drinks.

I mean come on...Is it really that hard to smile? lol Corey was rushing out to work but decided he needed some chocolate milk before he went. And just a personal side note....Mother Nature, enough with the snow. We get it. It was a cruel joke now be done with it.
