We had a fun night Tuesday when we went with our good friends to Gardner Village to see the witches. It was a scream. Tayden was a little nervous to get too close to the witches. Especially after all the teasing about the Kissing the Cook witch. Our family picture I included in this bunch isn't all that great but if you'll notice Tayden he looks like he wants to take someone on (or flip someone off). Plus, Samantha looks more than thrilled. My friend took a better family photo so hopefully I will be able to get my hands on that one. We came back to our house and had Lasagna and Cheesey Breadsticks. The Breadsticks was one of the first requests on my new blog RuthysDiner . We had a great night and very wonderful company.

Childhood memories
Jumping in leaves is one of my favorite memories when I was little. Of course, before leaf jumping there was raking. The raking wasn't so bad. I actually enjoyed doing it. Friday, I decided to head out to my parents house to check out the leaf situation. It's a good thing I followed my instincts. As we were pulling up I saw my Grandpa and Dad in the front yard. Grandpa was watching my dad with his handy dandy new leaf blower blowing the leaves into a pile. The kids jumped out of the car and went running into the leaves. They had great fun, (well Clarissa wasn't too sure of it), and they helped carry the leaves to the backyard garden and dumped them all into a big pile back there. I thought it was neat that they got to help their Grandpa and their Great Grandpa. To me it was a special moment. To the kids it was just fun. Hopefully, later in life, they will enjoy looking at the pictures and cherish that memory.

Timberlakes
Here is a slide show of our "staycation" during Fall Recess/UEA weekend. We had a WONDERFUL time in Timberlakes. We can only thank our dear family friend Janice for taking us once again. It was so beautiful and relaxing.
GTU Visit
I started my staycation by going with two of my sister-in-laws and a niece and nephew by visiting the Good Things Utah show that is aired on ABC4 at 10:00 every weekday morning (I had to put my plug in for them). It was fun to go with them and we all went away with a $35 facial gift certificate. I even got my photo taken with some famous people. ;)

Good-bye my friends.....
I must say good-bye to my dear friends. They have always been there for me (Even when I lacked a bit of faith). They never let me down. They worked hard at making me smile everyday. I saw their growth. They too really changed a lot throughout this year. It's hard to let go. Things will be hard for a while. There will be a big empty feeling. We had some really good times together. People noticed how wonderful you all were to me. So, I Thank You! Thank you for bringing a bit of sunshine into my life everyday. Thanks for not giving up on me when at times I may have given up on you. I will never forget your Beauty. So long, Farewell. Until we meet again.
Here are a few pictures I took on Oct. 1st.
Here are pictures I took this morning on Oct. 13th.

Likes, Dislikes, and Quirkiness
So, I have been tagged twice and am a little behind on keeping up with them. So I am doing a twofer here.
First off, I have my Seven likes and Dislikes....(I'm told that you can't include your better half or the children since we already like them......or so I'm told). So here we go.
1. I like Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin cc bread, and pumpkin muffins.
2. I'm not a big fan of pumpkin pie. (I will eat it if I can smother it with vanilla ice-cream or cool whip)
3. I LOVE chocolate. I don't just like it, I love it. I crave something chocolate everyday.
4. I HATE Green Beans. I have tried them as an Adult and I still feel the same way. I feel like I am going to puke everytime I try to swallow them. They are nasty.
5. I like doing crafts. I think it is so fun to put your creativity down on something.
6. I hate not having time to do crafts.
7. I love Chick-Fil-A. I can't wait for the one to open in Jordan Landing.
8. I hate bad drivers. Examples: Those people that have to speed and cut people off, drivers that go the wrong way down a one way street, and extremely slow drivers. THERE IS A SPEED LIMIT FOR A PURPOSE. DO NOT be excessive on the speed but at least go the speed please! As for the one way street, I have seen one Semi and two cars go down the wrong way on that stretch by the airport down on 7800 S. AUGH!!!!!
9. I like the color blue. It is absolutely my favorite color. Practically any shade. I was onced nicknamed "Smurf" because of it.
10. I hate the wind. I do not like my hair being blown all over the place.
11. I love Fry Sauce. I think my top favorites are Leatherby's, Granny's (in Heber), Artic Circle, and Training Table.
12. I hate driving in the snow.
13. I love watching the snow fall. It's great being snuggled in my warm house, sipping hot chocolate, and watching it fall while I am safe at home.
14. I hate having to try to come up with Seven things I like and Seven things I don't like.
I tag.....Benita ;) , Jolynne, Heather, Katie, Laura, Kristi, Hannah
For the next tag. I have to tell you Six of my Quirks. Really, do I have any? My sweet husband helped me out on this one.
3. I probably only see movies in the theaters at the most twice a year. I feel like I can see it when it comes out on video. (Don't worry though, I will be going to see Twilight in the theaters.)
4. I've repelled off a 300 foot cliff. Don't ask me how I did it. But honestly, I am terrified of cliffs. I hate driving in a car and seeing a huge drop off just inches, well maybe feet, just out my window. I am terrified that we will drive off of it. I just hold on for dear life and hold my breath.
5. I hate it when my money isn't facing all the same direction. I make sure when I hand the cashier money that I am giving it to them with all of the bills facing the same way. I think I got this way working as a cashier once. It really bugged me. Plus, that's how they wanted it put away.
6. I have lived in Utah my whole life and have never gone Snow Skiing. I don't really have the desire to do so either. The idea of me falling and breaking a bone scares me.
I tag...Kori, Brandie, Melissa, Petra, Susan, Cari

For the next tag. I have to tell you Six of my Quirks. Really, do I have any? My sweet husband helped me out on this one.
The rules are: List 6 quirks about yourself and then tag six people.
1. I like hot dogs but without anything on it. Just the bun and the hotdog. No Ketchup, no mustard, no mayo, no relish...Nada.
2. I constantly worry that I left something on or plugged in at the house. I check at least three times before leaving to Church or to the store to make sure I turned off my flat iron or curling irons. When we used to have to drive to church sometimes I would get out of the car and run in to make sure they were unplugged.3. I probably only see movies in the theaters at the most twice a year. I feel like I can see it when it comes out on video. (Don't worry though, I will be going to see Twilight in the theaters.)

Picture Perfect
I got yelled out for putting such messy pictures of my little one up on the last post. I was told I need to put cuter pictures up instead. Come on, aren't pudding faced little girls cute enough??? Anyway, here are a few "perfect" pictures. I thought I would add a few of all the kids. So here are the loves of my life!
