Quick Update

Sorry no picture just thought I better send out a quick update on Clarissa. She is fine. What they think may have happened is that she dislocated her elbow/shoulder but somehow popped it back into place herself. Anyway she is fine. Thanks for all your words of care and concern.

Boo Boo

Now if this is not a sad face I don't know what is.

Last night at one point she started grabbing her arm and she was screaming. She wasn't in a very good mood to begin with. So we tried to get her ready for bed. She was not letting us pick up this arm to put it in her pajamas. She cried when we touched it, she cried when she tried to move it. After a blessing and a night with us in our bed we thought we would see how she was in the morning. Corey went to work. She woke up shortly after seven and wanted a drink. I went and got it for her but when I went to give it to her she tried to grab it but couldn't lift her arm. She cried again. I called Corey as planned and he ended up coming home and taking her to the insta-care. After a visit there and x-rays there was no sign of a broken bone. They wanted to keep it wrapped for a couple of days and see if by Thursday she can move it. If not back to the doctors we go. I'm sure she will be fine but we just aren't sure what happened.

Happy Easter

We started the morning off with an Easter Egg Hunt inside the house this year. They had fun searching HIGH and low for their eggs. :)

We had to wait until after Church to take pictures of the kids. Still very handsome after three hours of church.......

And also very Beautiful....

I'm surprised we got a group picture. I couldn't get another one in so I may have to try again another day.

Right after this we ran to Grandma and Grandpa Hotton's and had a delicious ham lunch. Some how we didn't get pictures taken there. As we were driving away I told Corey we didn't get any pictures. So, I tried to get a few taken when I fed My oldest brother and his family and my youngest brother at my house later in the day. We had ham, rolls, potatoes, fruit, salad, peas.....I am sure there was more because I feel like the good year blimp today. My sister-in-law, Sheri, also brought a Strawberry pie for dessert. We also had a lot of good laughs. Thanks for coming guys.

April Fools Dinner

I was trying to figure out what I could do to make a fun April Fool's dinner for the kids. As I was racking my brain today I finally came to a decision. I decided to bring out only the best table cloth we had.....which actually was the newspaper spread out across the table. I made a fabulous drink....Thank you J-E-L-L-O! It was hilarious watching the kids try to take their first drink out of the cups. I also made mini chicken sandwiches. I used chicken nuggets and made some homemade mini buns. I used Banana split dishes for their plates and colorful forks or spoons for them to eat with. I really think the kids had a blast with it.

Of course we finally got them other cups for them to drink water from.

Doesn't this look fabulous? HA HA HA :)

For dessert we had hamburgers and fries.

Gotta love the fry sauce! :)

Actually, the hamburgers were vanilla wafers, Keebler mint cookies, and colored icing. The fries were made from sugar cookie dough which I cut to look like fries and then baked them and topped it off by drizzling icing on top. It was a lot of fun.
