Cookies, Cookies, Cookies
So, I thought I would post some pictures of our cookie day today. Samantha had first started out wanting to help me make cookies. Well, Tayden wanted in on the action so we decided to let him think he was helping for a bit. Braxton came in the room and helped eat....(he really didn't eat the dough)....I mean put cookie dough on the pans. After our first batch came out the kids sat around the table and had milk and cookies. Later, Tayden came to me smiling so he could actually show me that he stole another cookie. This happened two other times actually. He thought he was pretty funny. All in all it actually turned out to be pretty fun and I think the kids enjoyed themselves.

I just think they look way to cute here helping stir the cookie mixture. Samantha did a pretty good job mixing the dough. I was very impressed.

Snow Surfing

So this was back at the beginning of February. This is how I feel it still is. I can't believe that Tuesday it will be April. During one of our many snow storms some pretty major drifts were made. At the park, across the street from us, there was a huge space from the fence to the snow drift. It looked like one big snow wave. So, Corey thought it would be a fun idea to put the kids in their swimming suits, stand them on a sled, and put them out in the cold to take these pictures. The kids LOVED it. I only wish the warm weather would actually come and stay for a while.

Subway

Corey and I decided we would grab a bite to eat tonight since his sister and his mom took the kids to Chuck-E-Cheeses. So I go into the Subway on 90th and Redwood Road. (I had just did my cereal shopping at Albertsons). I waited and waited and waited. After waiting forever, while they were helping the two people in front of me, it was finally my turn. All I was ordering was two Club footlongs on wheat. First the guy pulls out a white and a wheat bun. He realized that mistake and corrected it. Then he adds turkey to one of the sandwiches and shoves it down to the next worker while he starts on the other one. I brought up the fact that I ordered two clubs and he realized that he hadn't put the other meat on. While the other worker just placed a few pieces of cheese on the club he adds the ham. He then grabs a few pieces of dripping wet Roast Beef and says that they are out and can't put any on the next one. I finally had it when I saw the disgusting looking roast beef that they were about to lay on one of the sandwiches. I said forget it and that I was going to go somewhere else. I realized they weren't changing gloves and also that one employee dropped a package of meat on the ground. So, I am NOT ever going to step foot in that Subway again and suggest that nobody else does. I came home and Corey made us chicken sandwiches.

Happy Easter
I thought I would share some Easter fun with everyone.

Here are Braxton, Sammy, and Tayden decorating eggs at my Parents house on Saturday.

These are some of the cute eggs that they decorated.

This is a picture of my very cute Grandpa that Clarissa and myself are standing beside. Although it may look like I have a double chin in this picture it will be one that I will cherish forever. I grew up right next door to my Grandma and Grandpa Fuller and this picture will be one that I will be forever thankful that Corey took.

This is my very handsome daddy who finally looked over and smiled for me. Thank you daddy. This picture makes me smile.

This picture was taken after church when we arrived at Corey's parents house. The two youngest were not cooperating very well.

Tissue Emergency Over!
I had an excellent shopping trip today. I took all four kids and Tayden actually cooperated with me. He sat in the stroller and didn't kick and scream or draw attention to us. He even fell asleep. During our adventure we stopped at Walmart and picked up a couple boxes of tissues, a generic form of Afrin Spray, and some Airborne. AMEN to the spray. I can actually breathe in and out of my nose. Thanks to my sister-in-law Sheri for recommending that treatment. It is what I needed. I almost feel like a whole new woman! Now that we finally have tissues in the house again the Toilet Paper can go back to doing it's regular job. Amen to that! =) Hopefully things will start looking up from here on out. Being able to breathe through your nose makes life a lot easier. Hopefully we have all had our turn at being sick and it is out of our system for now.

HELP!!! Tissues Needed
We went through this extra large box of tissues in just four days. The miserable cold hit our family hard. Clarissa is doing a lot better but still has a bit of a runny nose. The cold is still biting at me pretty hard and Corey actually got it. He hardly ever gets it. Samantha has had the cold too but not as hard as the rest of us. Oh, Tayden now has it too. It's been pretty bad because chores have gotten behind big time. We can only pray that this will soon pass so we can get this house back in order.

Clarissa
My cute little Clarissa went in for her nine month checkup yesterday. She was 17 lbs. 12 oz. and 27.2 inches long. She is cutting four teeth right now so she went in to the appointment with a runny nose. As the afternoon continued on she started getting a really nasty cough. Needless to say I was up most of the night holding a sick child who could barely breathe and she was burning up pretty quickly. As soon as the Tylenol kicked in she would be able to calm down a bit. After talking with the nurse today we will be going back to the doctor's office to get checked out this afternoon. They may give her a shot that will help her breathe tonight since she says that it gets worse at night. Yuck! Let's just hope they can help ease her discomfort.
***Back from the Doctors. She has the croup. They gave her a shot that will help open up the airways. Hopefully we will get a little bit of sleep tonight.

Braxton's Baptism
This is my first attempt at blogging so be patient with my none creativity. Due to friends moving and out of state family I thought it was about time I started to attempt this. Braxton was Baptized on February 9th so this is a family photo of us at home after he was baptized. He was so excited. I will attempt to add a few more pictures of him from his baptism.
