Vacation Day 3

On Wed., July 23rd, we went with my sister-in-law, that lives in Flordia, and her three kids to the Monte L Bean Museum. (http://mlbean.byu.edu/home/). It was tons of fun for the kids. It is totally free except the gas expense to get you there. If you have a free day you should really go. It's in Provo. If you go to the link you can read more about it. I took lots of pictures and would like to share some of them with you.

In the following three pictures, which one would you like to see crawling around your house???

If you didn't like those choices, here are a few other pictures you might find fun in.

I think the warthog in Lion King is a lot cuter than this one.

To all you former Valley Junior High students. Here is our mascot, The Liger.

Oh NO! Don't eat ME!!!

Finally, we rested and fed our bellies at The Cougar Eat. It sure has changed since I was a young one. I haven't been there for years. All the kids did very well. We certainly enjoyed the day together.

The most beautiful scene on the side of the mountain. I think the picture explains itself.

GO COUGARS!!!

Happy Birthday Cameron

Happy 34th Birthday! Sorry, this is the only picture I had at the moment. (This is at his son's birthday party for those that are wondering.) We love you and miss you!

Vacay Day 2

Tuesday we went to the South Towne Expo Center and previewed the floats for the 24th of July Parade. We were able to go with one of my Sis-in-laws and her two girls. The kids had so much fun seeing the floats up close. Here are just a few pictures of some of their favorite floats.

My kids all had their pictures taken in front of the Y
float. Go COUGS!!

Braxton and Tayden really liked the Jazz float. Braxton probably wished the Jazz dancers...(Don't get me wrong he loves the Jazz players and would love to meet them too. BUT,).....were there at the time so he could meet them personally. :)

The following are pictures of my kids with two of their little girl cousins.

After that we wanted to take the kids to The Mayan but it was way to long to wait. We ended up going to the Training Table and then headed over to play with some other cousins for a little bit. Afterwards, we went over to the West Jordan park and let them play around. We had never been there so we decided to check it out. We then went store hopping trying to find shoes for the kids for school but had no luck. We ran into some friends at Target and they came over for Slush and Ice-cream sundaes. That was the end of Day 2.

Vacation Day 1

Corey took the week off so we had a small family vacation. We stayed in Utah and didn't go farther than Provo but it was fun. He did have to still see his Home Health Patients everyday but once he was done with that we were on our way.

This was day one. We ended up going bowling. The kids had a BLAST. Corey and I were more or less diappointed in ourselves. I will not be posting scores to protect the innocent. As you will notice there is no picture of me. It's not that I didn't want one taken it's just that I was the one taking pictures and no one offered to take one of me. So, there you have it. :)

Cutie Patootie

Couldn't resist posting this picture. Plus, I had to show off how much hair she has. I can't believe I can start doing cute little styles like this with her hair.

Fun with HAIR and FLOWERS

I thought I would go ahead and try something a little different with my little princesses hair. She seemed to have enough to try this out. I thought it looked so cute. Afterwards I was actually shocked that there was enough to do something so "fancy" to my 13 month old.

Isn't she just the cutest little thing. This picture I took I called out her name and she turned to me and smiled for the camera. Seems like she is starting to get the idea with the camera.

Here are a few more pictures of my flower garden in front of my house. My Daylillies are in full bloom. They look so beautiful. I mostly wanted to take these and post them so my one brother in Texas can be amazed at how his sister can have such an amazing green thumb. I think since I last posted my garden pictures the flowers have filled in even more. I LOVE my flower garden. I don't think I mentioned how amazing it smells too.

Updates

Sorry no pics. I just have a bunch of updates.

Tayden has done very well with the potty training. It has been a week and a half. We have had very few accidents. We just have to keep our eye on him when he disappears. That's when we know there is BIG trouble. We are trying to teach him that it's o.k. to let it ALL out in the potty. :)

It has been a week since Clarissa has finished nursing. She actually has done a lot better than I thought. She has had her moments but I think she is coming around. My pain is starting to ease up a bit if anyone was wondering.

Corey amazed me this past weekend and installed a Digital Thermostat. I am very proud of him. Especially since he didn't blow up the house. :) I love it and I am finally at peace knowing the exact temp. of the house.

Braxton and Samantha found out who their teachers were today. They were excited to find out that they had friends in their classes.

I, Ruthanne, have started seriously working out. Now that I am done nursing I don't feel as guilty limiting my food intake too. So, hopefully things will start looking up...I mean down...Well the weight that is. I also got to go play some B-ball Tuesday evening which was a ton of fun.

You can also find us all outside either playing, weeding, watering, or just plain relaxing.

That's the latest folks. We hope you are all in good spirits and enjoying the summer months.

If you plant them, they will grow!

Here is the story behind this particular plant. When we planted these petunias back in May I didn't have much hope for this individual plant. Corey watered it and fertilized it but it continued to shrink and look like it was about to crumple up. Every time Corey went through and fertilized the flowers he would still give it its share. I pretty much gave up on it. As the weeks went on I kept looking at it and would notice a bit of a change. Low and behold the other day I just about couldn't believe my eyes. I told Corey that it looked like it was going to get a flower on it. Not only did it get one flower it grew a total of three flowers. I could turn this into a lesson right now but I think you all get the picture.

Here is a view of my flower garden. Soon I will have some blue flowers growing from one of the plants nestled in this picture. It will definitely give it more pizazz.

We were finally excited to see our daylilies bloom. They are so beautiful. We will probably be able to enjoy them for a couple of weeks until they quit blossoming.

Last but not least here is our vegetable garden. Unfortunately, we had to pull our pea plants this past week so you don't see them in this picture. Right now you can see our Corn growing along with, pumpkins, zucchini, cucumbers, watermelon, tomatoes, green peppers, tomatillos, and another plant that we can't remember what we planted. I guess it will be a nice surprise. :)

PoTtY TrAiNeD!

O.k. so I hope that I am not jumping the gun too quickly on this one but it looks like we are very well on our way. This is day two of potty training. (Actually it is probably day 305 but let's get real here). He has done a pretty awesome job about going to the bathroom. Of course we are more on the watch and pushing him into the bathroom every chance we get. He has almost cooperated every time. He is so excited. We bought him Kung Fu Panda Underwear and he has loved being able to wear it. We hope the remainder of the week goes just as well.
YEAH TAYDEN!!!!

My Baby Brother :)

This is my youngest brother. He has an awesome talent that I just wanted you all to see. If you don't mind muting my music and turning up your volume so you can hear him I think you will have fun listening to him.

Happy 4th (and Fam. Gath. part4)

We started the day off with our annual Fourth of July Fuller Family Breakfast in my Grandpa Fuller's backyard. It was very delicious. We had a great time visiting and seeing family we don't get to see too often. Shortly after the breakfast we had a family talent show. We had dancing, singing, joke telling, and whatever else the little kids came up with. We even had a special visitor. It was Ernie from Sesame Street. There was even an impromptu push up contest. After the Talent Show we put up the Banzai slide and there was fun had by all. There was, of course, a waterballoon/water fight. We then had a late afternoon BBQ. We ended up coming home and had some friends over for Donuts and Fireworks. We also went over to our new church parking lot and we were able to see many firework shows throughout the valley from there. The kids had a wonderful day. It has been nice to have Corey home an extra couple of days too.
