Sugar City Fun

We were able to go on a little family vacation this past weekend. We went to visit some good friends that live in Sugar City, Idaho. We had the most wonderful time while we were there. They were wonderful hosts. I made this slide show so you can see some of what we did while we were there. We went to Yellowstone, which was a first for me, and thought it was beautiful. We also enjoyed playing in the sand. Our kids didn't want to leave Idaho. The pictures in the slide show are probably about a third of what we took. Anyway, we had a marvelous time. Thank you Spencer and Melodee.

The Twenty Dollar Bill

This is kind of an embarrassing story to tell. I feel I must tell it. Yesterday, Corey was putting dishes away. He yelled at me down the hall so I went down to see what he needed. He was holding this twenty dollar bill in his hands. He was drilling me about who has been in our house lately. He then proceeded to tell me that this twenty was sitting at the bottom of the butter knife slot. I stood there confused. How did a Twenty get there? How have I not noticed when I put dishes away? How did the kids not notice when they put dishes away? The big questions are How did it get there? and How long has it been there? I, for one, don't count my money with the utensil drawer wide open. Clarissa does go through my wallet quite often but she can't quite reach that drawer yet to hide things. So, who put it there? Well, however it got there or who put it there we will never know. All we can say is THANK YOU!!! I could be thanking myself for all I know. But seriously, Blessings come when you least expect it.

Rewind....

Samantha's first day of Dance and missing teeth......

Samantha had her first day of dance on Sept. 8th. She was so excited. It was so fun to peek in on her while she was in class. I can remember back to when I was her age and taking dance. I absolutely loved it so it is fun to see her excitement as well.

Later that same night she lost a top tooth. Right now she is going around with a whole in her head. I also remember when I was missing my top teeth. I went around singing, "All I want for Christmas is my Two front teeth."

The State Fair.....

We attended the Sate Fair on Sept. 11th. We picked the kids up from school and left from there. Corey actually won tickets to go so that made it even better. The kids had a lot of fun seeing the animals. Tayden was a little hesitant about getting too close so we snapped pictures when we had the chance.

Disclaimer: (I was not behind the camera of the above picture. Heads were getting chopped off with the camera in the hands of a certain nameless individual).

ANNIVERSARY......

We got to spend a night at the Anniversary Inn. We were given a gift certificate last Christmas so we thought we would save it for our Anniversary. I have to admit I did think about my kids most of the time. Mainly just the two little ones worrying if they were being good for Grandma and Grandpa. They did just fine so I don't know why I worried. We ate at Rodizio Grill. After that we walked around Temple Square. The Temple looked absolutely beautiful. It was weird not having kids tagging along. We had a wonderful time.

Tayden's Birthday!!!

Tayden was so excited to have his birthday today. His eyes were sparkling all day . We had some family over tonight to share in his excitement. The funny thing about it is that everytime he opened a present we would ask him what it was. His response continued to be, "Mine?" It was funny. I think you will notice it in one of the clips if you listen close enough. I can't believe he is three. I had just over two months left of being pregnant with him when we moved in our house. Where has the time gone? He is growing up too fast.

Tayden's Having a Birthday Shout Hooray.....

Three years ago this little guy came into our lives. He certainly turned our lives around. He has been more than enough of a challenge for me but who can resist those eyes and that adorable smile. It is so fun to see his eyes light up when his Daddy is home from work or when the kids come home from school. I love you so much my little guy! And remember, "Who's the Man?"
