Our Rewards!

It is so much fun growing a garden. If you haven't done it yet you really need to. I absolutely LOVE being able to pull things from our garden knowing that we did this ourselves. Today we pulled our first red tomato. I am not a big tomato fan so Corey enjoys those a bit more than I do. I do enjoy them in the Salsa that he makes. We just wanted to share that all that "hard labor" pays off. O.K.....so it really isn't hard to dig a whole and throw a seed in it or place a starter plant in the whole. You just need to pull weeds occasionally and water. It's just a lot of fun!

That is great, we were just talking about having a garden next year because of all the zucchini we have been eating lately.

Those look like they came right out of a book. Perfect! I'm so disappointed, we didn't even get one cherry or peach off of our trees. Maybe next year? Truthfully I'm pretty surprised they're both still alive!

Good job girl! The veggies look delicious! Try a sliced tomato with a little lemon pepper on it. I'm not huge on tomatoes either, but ones fresh from the garden with lemon pepper are awesome!

Wow! That is a GREAT looking garden! Mom was supposed to plant zucchini's for me, but she didn't. I am feeling guilty from your blog, apparently it really isn't that hard to plant one. I guess if I really applied my skills of digging holes and throwing in seeds I could have had zucchini's. But mom tells me that I have to talk to the plants too...is this really part of growing a garden?

Do I even need to leave a comment on this? Your vegetables look as amazing as your flowers!

I don't think I will ever plant a veggie garden... imagine how mine would look next to yours... with just a pea or something!
