Vacation Day 3

On Wed., July 23rd, we went with my sister-in-law, that lives in Flordia, and her three kids to the Monte L Bean Museum. (http://mlbean.byu.edu/home/). It was tons of fun for the kids. It is totally free except the gas expense to get you there. If you have a free day you should really go. It's in Provo. If you go to the link you can read more about it. I took lots of pictures and would like to share some of them with you.

In the following three pictures, which one would you like to see crawling around your house???

If you didn't like those choices, here are a few other pictures you might find fun in.

I think the warthog in Lion King is a lot cuter than this one.

To all you former Valley Junior High students. Here is our mascot, The Liger.

Oh NO! Don't eat ME!!!

Finally, we rested and fed our bellies at The Cougar Eat. It sure has changed since I was a young one. I haven't been there for years. All the kids did very well. We certainly enjoyed the day together.

The most beautiful scene on the side of the mountain. I think the picture explains itself.

Face paints any old time you want. I LOVE to do it. I'd probably have done them in AZ, if I'd had the space in my bags. :)

What a fun thing to do! I really don't know what I would do if any of those "things" were crawling across my floor...move right away maybe! :) It is nice to see you guys enjoying your summer! When do your kids start school?

Hmmm, I hate all three bugs. Livvy caught a centipede the other day and kept it in her bug container till it died. She named it Butterfly. I guess that explains which one I would keep. ugh.

I think I'd want the spider crawling around me at night. We did have a HUGE centipede come through our window when we used to live in Hawaii. You couldn't just step on it once (because they were so big, and CRUNCHY...hahaha).
Why have I not had a vacation yet? Oh yeah, I have two kids and want more...duh...lol.

you were right in my home town and i didn't even know it!! people don't make it down here very often, so when special occasions arise such as this, you need to let me know!! haha jk...but seriously :) so i just found out about a year or so ago that the museum was named after a person not after what was actually held inside... i thought it was just every kind of bean you could think of. i'm a little slow. i would always just think, how boring would that be. hahaha
